Community Rules

1. Treat Administrators, Game Masters, and the rest of the team with basic respect, on every platform we run — in-game, Discord, or the forum. Disrespect toward staff is punished no matter where it happens.

2. Impersonating a GM, Admin, or any staff member — through a character name, chat, or anywhere else — is not allowed.

3. Don't advertise or promote other Lineage II servers in our game chats, Discord, or any platform tied to L2Gold.

4. Bots, third-party programs, and knowingly abusing a bug or exploit for personal gain are all bannable. If you come across something broken in the game, forum, or website, report it to staff right away — valid reports may be rewarded, and it protects you as much as anyone else.

5. Your account is your responsibility — it can't be transferred, and we will never ask for your password, in-game or out. Only play from a device you trust, and avoid running unofficial tools alongside the client, since these are a common way accounts get compromised. Our systems are built to keep accounts and items secure on our end; losses caused by your own account security are outside what we can restore, though we're always willing to look into anything that seems like a genuine server-side problem.

6. Keep the email on your account current. It's the only way we can help you recover your password, so an outdated or inaccessible email means we may not be able to assist if you get locked out.

7. Keep Global and Hero chat clean — no slurs, harassment, deliberately offensive names, or drama-baiting, on any chat channel or platform we run. If someone's bothering you, use /block instead of escalating publicly. Hero chat reaches the whole server, so use it with that in mind, and don't use any chat channel to turn players against the staff team.

8. If you believe staff made a mistake, bring it to us directly and we'll look into it. Public accusations you can't back up will be treated as harassment.

9. Donations are voluntary support for the server and are final once processed — please make sure you're comfortable with that before donating.

If a situation isn't covered above, ask us directly in Discord before assuming it's fine — staff would rather clarify a rule than have to enforce it after the fact.
